The environment from which we come (customs or financial administration) and customs issues predetermines our focus on all related topics in connection to customs. Whereas a customs duty is defined as a statutory payment which is levied on import and export of goods and which is levied on persons importing or exporting such goods or on persons to whom goods are imported or exported and is collected by specialized state agencies and at the same time, several members of our team are lawyers, it is evident that we are very close to international trade as such. In our practice, we encounter, for example, questions concerning the contractual conditions for the international purchase of goods, a forwarding contract, a transport contract or a storage contract. We deal with INTRASTAT, INCOTERMS and in cooperation with the law firm Prosman a Pavlovič advokátska kancelária, s.r.o. we deal also with problems related to international conventions, in particular CMR and CIM, including representation in disputes before the court.
